The Roadmap to Prosperity

East Coast Connected is proud to present the third annual Atlantic Business Summit on Friday, June 18, 2010 in Toronto.

This year, the Atlantic Business Summit will feature a keynote presentation from Kevin Stolarick, Research Director Martin Prosperity Institute as well as a keynote discussion with Elizabeth Beale, President and CEO Atlantic Provinces Economic Council and Elizabeth Parr-Johnston, C.M., Ph.D., former President and Vice Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick. Barbara Pike, Vice President of the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies will moderate the discussion.

Attendees will also participate in facilitated breakout sessions focusing on action oriented solutions that will pave the way toward Atlantic Canadian prosperity.

The First Angel Network (FAN) is proud to sponsor ECC’s Lobster Trap; an Atlantic take on choosing and rewarding great business ideas from the region’s entrepreneurs. Top young companies from FAN’s short list of potential prospects will present their business cases before a panel of high profile executives. The winner will qualify for the opportunity to approach a community of active investors in the First Angel Network.
